How to navigate the Adagio site:

This site is designed for monitors of size 1068x762 or larger. We recommend that you turn off all browser toolbars to maximize the screen area available for the images. The panorama images that you'll find in the Photo Gallery are much wider than most displays [the panoramas are more fun if downloaded and viewed with a competent graphics program].

The site is built with two frames: the left "navigation" frame, and the right "content" frame. The sliding menus are hopefully straightforward. Therefore the Navigation frame is always available for quick jumps to another part of the site.

Possibly not so obvious is that clicking on the Adagio Logo at upper left will always take you straight back to the initial site loading page.

The Photo Gallery pages after March, 2002: The full size images are 640x480 (except for the panoramas). The thumbnail and image navigation is hopefully straightforward. On the full-image pages, the previous and next thumbnails at the page-top take you directly to the full-size image (you don't have to return to the thumbnails summary page). The filmstrip icon in the center of the page-top returns you to the thumbnails summary page.If you don't like the way it works, or think that the images should be larger (or smaller) please drop a note to Webmaster via the Contacts page.

Photo albums through February, 2002: All of the full size images have a group of five navigation buttons at the bottom, similar to VCR controls. If you wish to just browse through the large images ala a slide show you can use the inner arrow buttons (you don't need to keep returning to the thumbnails page).
